OSTRICHES REIGN SUPREME AT LOUIS VUITTON

LOUIS VUITTON - Sloane St, London
Isn't strange that we take for granted so many things that are available to us locally? Ostrich skin being one of them. It's obvious Marc Jacobs has taken a liking to this exotic skin and decided to to create a line for Louis Vuitton. Their clever campaign largely driven by the store fronts are witty and captivating.

I think we'll see more of these types of goods in a world where counterfeit is rife. It is nigh impossible to 'fake' an ostrich bag for example. Your input costs are just too high. IMO You don't need to be as concerned with Intellectual Property protection when you make goods that are actually difficult to copy - with respect to price and/or technique and/or niche - as opposed to slapping your logo on them and charging an inflated price.

And I love the bows on those shoes!
